OCTOBER 2008 — Here are a few sites I’ve recently designed and/or developed. For grins, check out the archives below.
bgcma.org
Total redesign: Concept, design, copy editing and SEO. This site is maintained by the client via a custom-designed and built content management system we developed in CakePHP.
commuterclub.com
Complete redesign: Concept, design, code, copywriting, SEO ... soup to nuts; client maintained.
elysiumchamber.org
New site for a great Atlanta musical group. Concept, design, code, copywriting and SEO.
juniorpi.com
New site designed to help educators and students understand Integrated Pest Management (IPM), a ‘greener’ method of controlling pests. Code, SEO, maintenance.
grousecreekranchoregon.com
Small site advertising a huge chunk of real estate for sale in Hell’s Canyon, Oregon. Be sure to see the photos of the property. Want to buy some land?
Here are the archived versions of a few sites I designed in years gone by. These are no longer the active versions; each has since been redesigned by other designers or companies.
Of course, there’s also this site, tomhinsondesign.com. No tables, CSS-based and (mostly!) XHTML-strict compliant.
Note: these links open in a new window/tab.
Saint Joseph’sThe hospital contracted with an outside agency to design a new, more comprehensive site. When asked for feedback on their original mock ups, I gave them this layout.
A fairly recent site. Tableless, CSS-based design.
A very basic “yes, we have a web site” site. Also tableless, css-based.
This is quite old, but have a look.
